TWITTER LIST AND TAGS:
Employers and job seekers alike are finding twitter a powerful recruiting and jobsearch tool. Twitter's new list and Hashtag features make it even more powerful by helping to filter out the noise and narrowly target the jobsearch results. If you are recruiting or seeking a job, you should first have a Twitter account and than become familiar with Twitter's list and hashtag features.

Some interesting "Twitter List" Features:
1) Twitter users can now organize users they follow (or users that they don't) into groups, or lists.
2) List are not global. they are indiginous to the profile of the user who created them.
2) All the list a user has created can be found on the user's profile page.
3) Another user's list can be followed just like following the user.

Hashtagging is a creation of the Twitter Community:
1) Users can include their tweets in a hashtag search by adding the lb. symbol and tag name to their tweets (#listname)
2) Hashtags are searchable. The user can add the lb. symbol before the tag name (#tagname) in the home page search box. A search can include multiple hashtags (#tagname-1 #tagname-2)

Some Hashtag Search Examples:
#construction #jobs
#texas #jobs
#pipefitter
#millwright #jobs

Its OK to tweet for a job. Who knows? The cost is zero and you could get lucky.

The "Twitter Help Forum" includes instructions on creating and following the list.
