Skanska USA. has been named the construction manager of its North American headquarters project in Franklin, Tenn. The corporate headquarters located 10 miles south of downtown Nashville will represent a capital investment in excess of $100 million.

Cardinal Ethanol, LLC broke ground at the future plant site on Tuesday, October 17, 2006. The proposed 100 million gallon per year ethanol plant will be the largest investment by a corporation ever in Randolph County, Indiana with an estimated cost of $150 million.

Construction began on the 100 MMgy ethanol plant the last week of September. The plant will be located just north of Hennepin, Il.
The first phase is a 100 MMgy natural gas-fired ethanol plant, which is expected to begin operation in November 2007. Phase II (coal fuel ) will expand the plant’s capacity to 200 Mmgy .

Once completed, the US Bio Janesville plant will employ around 40 people and will annually produce 100 million gallons of ethanol and 320,000 tons of distiller's grains. It will process approximately 37 million bushels of corn per year,

Fagen Inc is the Contractor for the UlSl BioEnergy biofuels plant in Hankinson, North Dakota
The $145 million project will employ an average of 150, and up to 300, workers during the construction phase. When fully operational, the facility will employ more than 40 full-time workers with an annual payroll of approximately $2.4 million.

Fagen Inc is the Design Build Contractor of the ASAB (American Strategic Alliance Biofuels LLC) ethanol plant construction at Bloomburg Ohio. Expected to startup in late 2007
The plant will produce more than 100 million gallons of ethanol and approximately 315,000 tons of dry distillers grains (DDG) per year and cost around $120 million to construct It will utilize almost 40 million bushels of corn per year and will employ 58 full-time employees at an estimated average salary of $45,000 per year (excluding benefits).

Fagen Inc has started construction on Absolute Energy LLC near St. Ansgar. Iowa The plant will process 35 million bushels of corn into 100 million gallons of ethanol and 320,000 tons of distillers grains annually.
Plans also include having on-site storage capacity of 3 million to 4 million bushels of corn,
Broke ground: August 2006
Target start-up date: fourth quarter 2007

D. A. Collins Construction Co. Inc., has been awarded a site preparation contract by General Electric Co. for a treatment plant that will process PCB-contaminated sediment to be dredged from the Hudson River. GE expects construction to begin in the spring of 2007.

The new bridge will connect Interstate 35E from Lake Dallas to the Dallas North Tollway on the north side of Frisco.
Jensen Construction Co, will construct the bridge for an estimated $93 million. An additional $29 million is projected to be spent on the toll plaza and collection systems.

Aker Kvaerner, Siemens Win $1.3 billion contract to build the Longview Coal-Fired Power Plant in Maidsville W.Va. Work will begin in February, and is expected to last four years.
The contract also includes delivery of the boiler for the 695 megawatt plant by Foster Wheeler North America Corp.,

The Washington Group contract is for the offsite facilities, including those related to well pads, gathering pipelines, metering stations, separation facilities, interconnects to a gas plant to be installed by others
